KOBEL -- Joseph H. Kobel, aged 53, of 844 Hovey St., SW., passed awayMonday afternoon in St. Mary's Hospital after a very brief illness. Surviving are the widow, Gladys; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (June) Gongalski of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Mrs. Genevieve Coates of Grand Rapids;one son, Ronald Kobel, also of Grand Rapids; three grandchildren; onebrother, Harry Kobel of Gladwin, Mich.; five sisters, Mrs. Bessie Metzger, Mrs. John Workman, both of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Raymond Kolk of Zeeland, Mich., Mrs. Allen Lowing of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Clare Gould of Holt, Mich. The deceased was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. James Church and of the Royal Order of Moose. Relatives, neighbors and friends are requested to recite the Rosary Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. Requien High Mass will be sung Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in St. James Church. Interment Rosedal Memorial Park.
