Zylstra, Patricia "Patty" (Gabbert), age 72 went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, March 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Gilbert; great-grandson Ethan Chad Anthony DeSero; parents Walter and Christine Gabbert. She will be missed by her loving husband of 39 years, Richard Zylstra; children Manely Gilbert, Kevin Gilbert, Chad (Kim) Zylstra, Denise (Dan) Reynolds, Mathew (Jennifer) Zylstra; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Carol Gabbert; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation with the family will be held 7-9PM Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Cook Funeral Home (East Building Memorial Chapel) 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM Friday, March 24, 2017 at Cook Funeral Home (East Building Memorial Chapel). Pastor Dennis Gilbert will be officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. In honor of Patty and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcares.com.
